New Years Eve: We're Go For Launch!

Hey everyone! Happy Almost 2009!

So we're all set. I have 15 women lined up. What I've done is assigned 10 of them a day and the other 5 are "backup people" in case someone is unavailable or something. This was complicated to arrange with schedules and menstruation cycles. But I'm excited. Some of these people I've never slept with before, some I have and am curious to see how they are again with the passage of time. The first one, however, will be bittersweet as I will explain tomorrow.

I've decided not to do anything sexual today, as I figure I will soon need the rest.

Predictions

1) Sex will become monotonous

So I've had a few relationships before and I know that over time, sex can become monotonous. It loses the urgency it has when it's rare. However, that sex has been with the same person over and over. So there's a chance the novelty of each new person will make it interesting. Still, I foresee it getting boring.

2) Performances will increase in duration

I figure it will just take more to excite me

3) I'll become sad that I'm unable to have a relationship or an actual date for a year

And that's assuming anyone ever wants to date me again! But, alas, this is science.

4) I'll become much, much more relaxed

How this is going to work

So my friends have asked me how I can sleep with that many people. I'm a good looking guy, but no one short of a celebrity can find that many sexual partners. And, of course, on a Tuesday night after work, it's not always possible to find anyone.

I don't think I'm going to resort to prostitutes. I do think I have a good plan. Here goes:

1) I'm collecting a group of friends/exes right now who are willing to sleep with me in the name of science. Starting January 1 and going for the first two weeks or so, I will sleep with these people to get the blog going. We're all friends.

2) Hopefully this blog becomes widely-read enough that women volunteer here: asexr@yahoo.com

3) I try my best at parties and bars.

Ground Rules

1) I will have sex with 365 women, one per day from January 1 - December 31, 2009.

2) Sex will be defined as genital penitration.

3) Days last from when I wake up to when I go to sleep. Thus, if I sleep with someone on January 2 at 2:00 AM and then sleep asleep sleep and then sleep with someone on January 2 at 11:00 AM, that counts as two different days.

4) Names will be changed on the blog to protect the women involved. Details will be real.

5) Obviously I'm going to do this as safely as possible and I don't suggest you try this at home.

6) If for some reason, I absolutely cannot have sex on a day (I am injured, on a long flight, etc...) I can have "makeup sex" with two people (or however many) as soon as possible. This should be avoided.

Introduction

I'm going to have sex with a new woman, every day for 365 days.

I got this idea a long time ago, and every December I chat with friends about "really doing it" this year, but the few people who take me seriously tell me that it is a terrible, terrible idea. But hey, that's life.

So, this year, I'm really doing it. January 1 - December 31, 2009, I will sleep with 365 women, one per day. And I'll let you know how it goes.
